525 George Street

Touchstone Partners is the development and project manager for the 525 George Street project. The brief from Event was to achieve the maximum developable GFA on a site that is constrained by tall residential buildings to the north and south of the site.

The building was subject to a design competition which was won by Candalepas Architects. The Candalepas design provides an elegant and beautifully proportioned tower for this long narrow site in George Street, Sydney.

Council strongly supported the development proposal and approved the Stage 1 DA in 10 months.

The 167 m tower is a 44-level mixed-use development The high rise levels of the tower provide 109 luxury apartments. The mid-rise provides a 4-star 357 room hotel and in the low rise, 7 boutique cinemas and 687 m2 of retail activate George Street and Albion Lane.
